FOOD

Mystery Snails eat many things such as, dead fish, other snails, and even their own eggs! They also eat soft vegetation, algae, and braine shrimps.

SHELTER

The Mystery Snail finds shelter and safety in its own shell. The snail also attaches to vegetation, or rocks at the bottoms of lakes, rivers, streams, ditches, or ponds. They sometimes climb on top of vegetation that grows in shallow waters.

WATER
The Mystery Snail inhabits a wide range of habitats from swamps, ditches and ponds, to lakes, and rivers. Most of the species prefer lentic waters, above streaming points, but a few have adapted to rivers with strong currents.
